    Florence train station
    Florence's central train station is called Santa Maria Novella. The station is located in central Florence.
    From the Sita Bus Station (next to Santa Maria Novella Station), buses leave to regional cities throughout Tuscany.

    Tip
    Waiting time to buy a train ticket at the desk can be up to one hour. We stayed in Hotel delle Nazioni 100 metres from the train station. When i woke up, i went to the desk at 7.00 in the morning and was helped allmost immediately.

    Florence Amerigo Vespucci Airport
    Between Amerigo Vespucci airport and the Central Station in Florence is a shuttle bus service.
    This busline is named 'The Volainbus' and departs every 30 minutes.
    - Amerigo Vespucci airport --> Santa Maria Novella Station (6.00 - 23.30)
    - Santa Maria Novella Station (Sita bus station) --> Amerigo Vespucci airport (5.30 - 23.00)
    Travel time is about 25 minutes. Ticket fare is 4 euro.

    Pisa Galileo Galilei Airport
    Florence Amerigo Vespucci is the regional capital’s city airport.
    Pisa’s Galileo Galilei Airport is registered as part of the Florence metropolitan area.
    Galileo Galilei is much larger and many international flights arrive therefore in Pisa.
    The railway station is next to Galileo Galilei Pisa Airport.
    The travel distance between Pisa airport and Florence city is 60/80 minutes by train.
